Newsletter issues at the end of the year2 min read

Last year was characterized by many projects and little time, which is why we had to neglect our website and our newsletter somewhat. Nevertheless, we want to get going again in the new year and provide you with more content that we have prepared.

Also, we would like to inform you about a problem that we have recently noticed on our website. In recent weeks, we have noticed an unusual number of newsletter registrations which, on closer inspection, have turned out to be automated bots. This undesirable phenomenon has prompted us to delete all newsletter subscribers in order to preserve the integrity of our subscriber list. It was up to 500 subscribers and makes our hearts bleeding…

We would like to emphasize that this measure is not only to ensure the quality of our subscriber list, but also to protect the privacy of our readers and those who are not. By deleting all existing subscribers, we ensure that only those who actively subscribe to our newsletter actually receive regular updates from us.

Newsletter privacy

The rise of bot sign-ups is a widespread phenomenon in the digital age that poses a challenge not only for us, but for many online platforms. Bots can operate automatically on websites and sign up for newsletters or other services without human interaction. This not only leads to a distortion of subscriber statistics, but can also affect the quality of communication with our visitors and readers.

Protecting your privacy is important to us. By cleaning up the subscriber list and only allowing genuine, intentional sign-ups, we want to ensure that your data is in good hands. Our goal is to provide you with relevant and interesting information without overstepping the boundaries of your privacy.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action may have caused you. We understand that deleting all subscribers is an unusual and inconvenient decision. However, we are convinced that it is in the best interest of our readers to draw a clear line between authentic subscriptions and automated bots.

The problem has been fixed in the meantime and it is now possible to subscribe to the newsletter again.

Despite this challenge, we encourage you to sign up for our newsletter again. We appreciate your interest in our content and assure you that we are continuing to work on making our website and communication channels more secure and effective.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to continuing to provide you with exciting news and relevant information in the future.

We also wish you happy holidays and a wonderful new year 😊
